Here are four you might want to play after finishing the newest Dungeons & Dragons adventure. Right now, there are no official adventures that follow up on Rime of the Frostmaiden, and the Dungeons & Dragons community has not yet had enough time with the story to create content of their own.В However, there are a lot of adventures that share themes, ideas and plot points with Rime of the Frostmaiden. While that adventure is sure to occupyВ groups for several months, all good adventures eventually come to an end, leaving a question as to just what the party should do next. Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden is an epic adventure that takes players from levelsВ 1-12 as they attempt to stop the deity Auril, who has kept the titular region in a state of everlasting night for over two years. Without the shard of the Crystal of Ultimate Vision on his forehead, Horde was powerless and subject to rapid and fatal aging.WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for the latest Dungeons & Dragons book, Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden, available now from Wizards of the Coast. Horde also possessed the power to alter molecules, and was for instance able to instantaneously change the X-Men and their allies' clothing from their nightwear to their costumes. Horde possessed teleportational ability, and was able to transport himself and the X-Men across interstellar distances, and even perhaps to another dimension. He was also apparently immune to the power-stealing touch of Rogue and Longshot's power to alter probability in his favor. Horde also proved impervious to mental attacks, as Psylocke's 'psycho blasts' and telepathy had no effect upon him. It is possible that Horde projected some kind of personal forcefield. He successfully withstood a combined attack by all of the X-Men, along with their allies Captain Britain and Meggan. Horde was superhumanly strong, and highly resistant to injury. Horde had a shard of the Crystal of Ultimate Vision on his forehead, which gave him a variety of superpowers, including immortality as long as he wore it.

Wolverine rejected the god-like power, and returned the X-Men and their friends home. Empowered to godhood, Wolverine plucked the crystal shard from Horde's forehead, and the tyrant quickly aged and crumbled into dust within seconds.

However, a lone drop of Logan's blood splattered the Crystal, which gave out enough energy for Wolverine to be restored.

Horde cut Wolverine down, and removed his heart as a trophy. Wolverine reached the crystal, only to discover that Horde had merely used the X-Men to divert the citadel's defenses away from him. Psylocke, who had been transformed into a metallic warrior as part of her heart's desire, sacrificed herself to slow Horde down, while Wolverine pushed Storm back into the simulation of her heart's desire to save her, leaving Wolverine to face Horde alone. Only Wolverine, Storm, and Psylocke were able to resist. As the X-Men progressed through it, the citadel created illusions of each of them's most powerful desire. Horde was an alien warlord who abducted the X-Men and their allies Captain Britain and Meggan to use as his lackeys to retrieve the Crystal of Ultimate Vision, of which he wore a shard on his forehead.Дesiring the rest of the crystal, Horde coerced the X-Men to travel to the Citadel of Light and Shadow, where the crystal was hidden.
